Our stay at the castle was a relaxing and fun experience. The views were spectacular and there were beautiful little details around every corner. Wonderful experience at the Castillo de Monda. We had dinner at the bar, at sunset. Quality cuisine and even better service from Ismael, the waiter who served us. We will repeat the experience

The hotel is beautifully situated on top of a mountain. Views from the restaurant, bar and room were quite beautiful. Everything is neat and functioning. Breakfast very good with wide choice. In the nearby village of Monda you can easily reach some restaurants and supermarkets (~10 min walk).

Good to know is that, because the hotel is on top of a mountain, the last road to it is very stylish (driving up in 1st gear). Furthermore, well-built road.

Only the food in the restaurant/bar is a bit on the expensive side.

A few lovely casual bar meals and drinks in the outside area at El Castillo: both Ismael and Miguel were really helpful and friendly and the food was fresh and tasty.

Excellent experience, very beautiful place with wonderful views, we came by recommendation and it exceeded it, the food was fantastic, the staff very attentive and pleasant, the Maitre d' is very polite and provides exquisite, approachable service that is hard to find, it has been a great discovery. We have spent two days in a row eating at the restaurant, 3 families with children. The team's service was incredible, friendly, and efficient. The quality of the food is a 10, as is the variety on the menu. The entire team is very positively noteworthy, from the entrance to the hotel to the coffee. The views from the restaurant are spectacular.

Staying in this castle has been a wonderful experience. The silence, the surroundings, and the charm of the castle itself create a perfect atmosphere to disconnect, rest, and enjoy a sense of well-being and peace of mind.
