We had our wedding in the castle so had exclusive hire. Firstly, can’t recommend enough - all the staff are wonderful, professional yet friendly. Knowledgable at their jobs. When we went for try outs, it’s been a great experience as a hotel and high standard restaurant. If you have any desire to do, don’t hesitate! You will not regret it, it’s a gorgeous venue and you’ll have a brilliant time. Marbella is also 20 minutes away by car if you want a different scene but to run away to a Moorish castle.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The views are absolutely fantastic, and the whole place has such a lovely atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious.

The only small downside was that our room, located above the entrance, was a little noisy at night when the gate was opened and closed. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

You can get to Malaga in 40 minutes and reach Marbella in 30 minutes. We can highly recommend Marbella if you want to spend a day or evening by the sea. During our time in Andalusia, we were in Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga, Ronda, and Marbella. Of all these cities, I had the absolute lowest expectations for Marbella and in the end, I was completely thrilled by this truly pretty, incredibly charming city with its beautiful beach promenade and an old town that I simply fell in love with.

We can recommend the Castillo de Monda without reservation and would like to thank you once again for this beautiful and unforgettable time. We would love to come back! ❤️

A very quiet place to relax as a couple, it radiates peace and tranquility. We stayed taking advantage of the Luna Mora weekend in Guaro.

Excellent experience, very beautiful place with wonderful views, we came by recommendation and it exceeded it, the food was fantastic, the staff very attentive and pleasant, the Maitre d' is very polite and provides exquisite, approachable service that is hard to find, it has been a great discovery. We will return without a doubt, 100% recommended. Congratulations.

A few lovely casual bar meals and drinks in the outside area at El Castillo: both Ismael and Miguel were really helpful and friendly and the food was fresh and tasty.

The hotel is beautifully situated on top of a mountain. Views from the restaurant, bar and room were quite beautiful. Everything is neat and functioning. Breakfast very good with wide choice. In the nearby village of Monda you can easily reach some restaurants and supermarkets (~10 min walk).

Good to know is that, because the hotel is on top of a mountain, the last road to it is very stylish (driving up in 1st gear). Furthermore, well-built road.

Only the food in the restaurant/bar is a bit on the expensive side.

Perfect experience My partner and I came here for dinner for the first time and the experience exceeded all our expectations. The food quality is oustanding. Every dish was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and packed with flavor. Magnificent scenery that created the perfect setting for a romantic evening. The service was Flawless from start to finish.
A special mention must go to the maître of the restaurante. His incredible kindness, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout the night. It is rare to find hospitality at this level.

We will definitely be coming back!
