Cascada Cocina & Bar (owned by Hotel Castillo de Monda in 2018) in Marbella has raised over 25.000€ for the “Free a Girl” foundation so 50 girls living in poverty will receive shelter and schooling from the Protection Centre of Maïti in Nepal.
Cascada Cocina & Bar is very proud to have helped organise the 2nd Marbella Charity Night, held at the restaurant on the 13th August, and to raise money for the Free a Girl Foundation!
Free a Girl is an international organisation dedicated to free minor girls from prostitution, to provide them with shelter and to prosecute offenders. In the past 10 years they have contributed to the liberation of 4187 girls from brothels as well as supported their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
Throughout the evening there were live performances on stage and guests enjoyed a magnificent 4 course dinner, prepared by Jaap Schaafsma and his team from Cascada. The night ended with an auction and a DJ. All in all it was a great night and with the money raised during this event, 50 girls in Nepal will receive shelter and schooling.
The event was held in Cascada Cocina and Bar, one of the restaurants owned by the Dutch origin Group to which Castillo de
Monda also belongs.
The evening was attended by many local Marbella residents and sponsors (including Assoc Marbella Dutch Business Club) and of course the artists Ger Vos, Belle Perez, Thomas Berge and Fred Diaz . The host of the evening was Mariska van Kolck.
